Job Type: Permanent (Full time, 40 hours/week plus weekends)

Salary: Starting from £30,500 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role

Working hours: Monday to Friday, shifts between 7:30am and 8:30pm; Saturday or Sunday shifts between 7:30am and 8:30pm (1:4 coverage).

Anderson Moores is a specialist referral hospital located in a serene countryside setting with state‑of‑the‑art facilities. We provide 24/7 care for pets in a small‑animal hospital setting and are recognised as one of the country’s leading veterinary specialist referral hospitals.

Specialty services include orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, neurology, internal medicine, dentistry, cardiology, anaesthesia, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, oncology, physiotherapy, ophthalmology and a pain clinic.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

  • Serve as the multidisciplinary RDVN, rotating across all disciplines and providing outstanding care to patients and pet owners.
  • Operate in wards (canine, feline, isolation, HDU), anaesthesia, cardiology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, orthopaedic surgery and soft tissue surgery.
  • Support all departments with nursing skills and expertise, ensuring essential treatment is delivered.
