Salary: £26,707.20 FTE (pro‑rated £25,038.00 per annum).
Location: Predominantly at Dudley Branch with potential coverage at all five Blacks Vets sites.
Job Type: Permanent.
Hours: 37.5 weekly, shifts between 8am and 8pm Monday‑Friday with one weekend shift per month and one Bank Holiday per year.
Responsibilities
- Promptly respond to calls and emails.
- General veterinary administration, including appointments and insurance.
- Payment handling, debt chasing, and end‑of‑day banking.
- Guide pet owners through complex and emotionally challenging journeys.
- Competent medication handling and dispensing.
- General housekeeping and practice maintenance.
- Reception cover across all five sites, potentially at short notice.
Qualifications & Experience
- Positive, proactive attitude.
- Computer literacy.

- Experience in veterinary industry helpful but not essential.
