Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for an ACVIM or ECVIM residency-trained, or ACVIM/ECVIM/RCVS Diplomate in Cardiology to join our busy team as our third cardiologist. You will work in our specialist-led multidisciplinary hospital to provide the highest quality care to patients. Our team includes 1 ECVIM Cardiology Diplomate and 1 resident, working together to deliver exceptional care to pets, their owners, and referring vets.
Our cardiologists collaborate closely with other specialist teams, including internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, anaesthesia, and oncology. We also have an on-site diplomate-led ICU and anaesthesia service.

Paragon is a purpose-built, diplomate-led multidisciplinary referral hospital located just outside Wakefield. Opened in 2018, it benefits from modern, clean facilities designed to deliver high-quality care. Our team works alongside leading specialists supported by skilled veterinary nurses. Our RCVS accreditation ensures outstanding care levels.
The hospital is conveniently located near the Yorkshire countryside, with excellent road links to Leeds, Manchester, and nearby airports. Our team is friendly and experienced, including anaesthetists, diplomates in medicine, oncology, anaesthesia, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, cardiology, neurology, and ECC. We have a dedicated nurse training lead ensuring ongoing professional development and mentorship.
