Location: Riversmeet Vets
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week (4 x 9.5 hours per week, plus 1 Saturday per month)
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the reception team to deliver outstanding client care at every touchpoint
- Acting as a visible presence on reception, building strong, empathetic client relationships
- Managing complaints and feedback professionally and implementing service improvements
- Maintaining exceptional front‑of‑house standards and team presentation
- Preparing and managing rotas, including holiday and absence cover
- Supporting recruitment, inductions, training and performance reviews
- Updating protocols and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures
What we’re looking for:
- Essential: Experience leading and motivating a team
- Background in a client care environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
- Professional, approachable and empathetic manner
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Desirable: Previous Lead/Head Receptionist experience
- Experience handling complaints and payment queries
- BVRA Gold Award
