V&C Associates has a strong track record placing talent within the Fashion Retail sector, and we're delighted to be working with one of London's leading Menswear Brands whom are looking to recruit a Garment Technologist, Mid-Junior Level. This is a business built on a genuine passion for fashion, quality and style, and they're now looking for a Garment Technologist to join their growing technical team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be supported and encouraged to develop. You'll be part of a team that values input at every level, and where your ideas and observations are genuinely listened to. As the business continues to grow, there's real scope to take on more responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the design team by advising on measurements and construction details for specs
  • Measuring samples and creating fit workbooks from 1st fit through to seal, ensuring garments meet brand requirements
  • Working across Mens woven products, Tailoring and Outerwear, developing your understanding of fit and construction across all product types
  • Checking grading for production to ensure consistency is maintained throughout
  • Reviewing base and bulk test reports and advising on washing instructions
  • Liaising with global suppliers to support them through the fit and manufacture process, providing clear and helpful guidance
  • Communicating across internal and external teams and managing information from multiple sources
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives through supplier engagement and industry networking
  • Contributing to supplier audit processes and helping to drive continuous improvement
  • Assisting with returns analysis and faulty product reviews, with some warehouse QC involvement
  • Opportunity to travel to Far East factories as part of the role
What We're Looking For
  • Around 3–5 years' experience working with menswear formal woven garments
  • A solid grounding in garment fitting, grading and construction
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage your time effectively
  • Positive and adaptable — happy working in a busy, fast-moving environment
