V&C Associates is searching for a dynamic and motivated Menswear Assistant Designer to join a fast-paced design studio. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative menswear ranges that blend creativity with commercial awareness. You’ll collaborate closely with the Account Manager and wider team, supporting the full design process — from research and concept creation to final sample approval. You’ll help bring collections to life through thoughtful fabric choices, clear technical packs, and on-trend designs that resonate with today’s market. The business creates forward-looking collections for leading global brands, combining strong design thinking with a commercial mindset. With a hands-on approach and an eye on emerging trends, we turn insight into product — responsibly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior designers in the research, development, and creation of menswear collections.
  • Translate concepts into sketches, digital illustrations, and detailed technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Build and maintain accurate tech packs, ensuring smooth communication with suppliers.
  • Conduct trend, fabric, and market research to stay ahead of evolving customer and industry movements.
  • Assist in sourcing and selecting fabrics, trims, and finishes that fit each collection’s concept.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — from production to merchandising — to ensure creative and commercial consistency.
  • Prepare design presentations, line sheets, and lookbooks for internal reviews, clients, and industry events.
