Our client, one of the UK's most reputable heritage brands that has held royal warrants for the past century, has a newly created position within their Events team. This time-honoured business has a loyal customer base and a growing membership proposition at the heart of its strategy. Known for their in-house events and FMCG line, they have a newly created role for Membership Lead within the Membership Department with real ownership reporting to the Head of Events and Experiences.

You'll shape and deliver the annual membership programme — a distinctive calendar of events, experiences and cultural partnerships that drives engagement, acquisition and retention, and brings the brand's heritage and expertise to life.

The Role

  • Own the annual membership events and cultural calendar, from concept through to delivery.
  • Curate a differentiated programme aligned to customer tiers, commercial objectives and a premium brand positioning.
  • Create compelling themes and narratives spanning food and drink, dining, travel, culture and luxury lifestyle.
  • Develop residencies, guest collaborations and co-created programmes that deliver genuine customer value.
  • Design the full customer journey — every touchpoint before, during and after each experience.
  • Build and activate strategic partnerships with brands, cultural institutions, chefs, producers and venues, working alongside the Partnerships Manager.
  • Leverage the client's unique producer and supplier network to unlock exclusive access and experiences.
  • Collaborate across Membership, Private Clients, Buying, Marketing and Hospitality teams.
  • Set clear objectives, budgets and success measures; use attendance, engagement and commercial data to evolve the programme.
  • Host customers at key events and stay ahead of trends across luxury hospitality, food and drink, travel and culture.

About You

  • Proven experience delivering premium customer experiences, luxury hospitality programmes, cultural programming or membership initiatives.
  • Creative and commercially minded — you develop distinctive experiences that deliver measurable value.
  • Strong project management skills, comfortable running multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A skilled relationship builder with partners, brands and stakeholders at every level.
  • Data-literate: you use customer insight and performance metrics to shape programming decisions.
  • Excellent communicator, verbally, in writing and in the room.
  • Naturally curious, with a genuine passion for hospitality, food and drink, travel, culture and craftsmanship.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-directed — you thrive with autonomy in a newly created role.
  • Flexible on hours, including evening and occasional weekend events.
