V&C Associates are excited to be working on a newly created position. Our client is one of the UK's most established FMCG businesses — a heritage brand that has held royal warrants for the past century, with a loyal customer base and a growing membership proposition at the heart of its strategy.
This is a newly created role with real ownership. You'll shape and deliver the brand's content strategy — building a distinctive editorial programme that brings its heritage, expertise and network to life across every channel, and drives engagement, acquisition and retention.
The Role
- Own the content strategy and annual editorial calendar, from concept through to delivery.
- Create compelling themes, narratives and storytelling that bring the brand's heritage and expertise to life across food and drink, dining, travel, culture and luxury lifestyle.
- Develop differentiated content aligned to customer tiers, commercial objectives and a premium brand positioning.
- Produce and commission content across formats — editorial, film, social, email and events storytelling.
- Work hand in hand with the Membership and Events teams to amplify experiences before, during and after each moment.
- Collaborate with external brands, cultural institutions, chefs, producers and creators on co-created content and partnerships.
- Leverage the client's unique producer and supplier network to unlock exclusive stories, access and collaborations.
- Partner with Marketing, Buying, Private Clients and Hospitality teams to align content with business priorities.
- Set clear objectives, budgets and success measures; use engagement, audience and commercial data to evolve the programme.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends across luxury, food and drink, travel, culture and membership businesses.
About You
- Proven experience leading content, editorial or brand storytelling for a premium or luxury brand.
- Creative and commercially minded — you develop distinctive content that delivers measurable value.
- Strong project management skills, comfortable running multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail.
- A skilled relationship builder with partners, creators, brands and stakeholders at every level.
- Data-literate: you use audience insight and performance metrics to shape content decisions.
