V&C Associates are retained on an important search for a Marketing Manager on behalf of one of Britain's most historic brands. Working closely with the Creative Director, this is a broad, hands-on role managing the marketing calendar and delivering campaigns across retail, clothing, leather goods and sporting accessories. The role will suit someone who understands the nuance and standards required of a heritage luxury brand, but is equally comfortable working practically within a small, entrepreneurial business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the annual marketing calendar across seasonal campaigns, product launches, retail communications and events.
- Plan and deliver campaigns across email, website, social media, print and selected paid media channels.
- Write and edit marketing copy, newsletters, product stories and website content in the brand's tone of voice.
- Oversee e-commerce product copy, ensuring content is accurate, refined and search-optimised.
- Manage email marketing activity including segmentation, scheduling and performance review.
- Support PR activity across luxury, lifestyle, field sports, travel and heritage media.
- Support the planning and delivery of brand events, trade shows, press days and private client activations.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance across Shopify, Klaviyo and GA4.
Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years' experience in marketing, communications or brand coordination within luxury, heritage, fashion, travel, country lifestyle or a craft-led sector.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an instinct for tone, restraint and brand consistency.
- Experience managing multi-channel campaigns, product launches and marketing calendars.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4 or Meta Business Suite advantageous.
- Highly organised, commercially aware and calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of heritage brands, field sports, leather goods or menswear an advantage but not essential.
