As Registered Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day running of a children's residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care for the young people who live there. You'll be the driving force behind a motivated staff team, a compliant and well-governed service, and a home where children genuinely thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and managing the home in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015
- Shaping and delivering the home's Statement of Purpose and care practices
- Supervising, coaching, and developing your staff team
- Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Building strong relationships with young people, families, and external agencies
- Overseeing budgets, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
- Ensuring therapeutic approaches (including PACE, trauma-informed care, and ARC) are embedded in practice
- Driving continuous improvement across all areas of the service
