We’re seeking a driven and curious investor with an outstanding understanding of AI, its latest research developments, and software entrepreneurship—someone with hands-on experience in venture capital, startups, or consulting, who’s ready to take their career to the next level and make a meaningful impact on Europe’s tech ecosystem from day one. This is a rare opportunity to contribute at the forefront of innovation: work closely with some of the most exciting early-stage startups, help shape breakthrough technologies, and grow a high-calibre network across Europe and beyond. You’ll become an integral part of our investment team and contribute to the full investment lifecycle—from sourcing and evaluating startups to working directly with visionary founders. Based in either Berlin, London or Greater Zurich area, you’ll join a highly ambitious, international team and play a key role in identifying and supporting the next generation of category-defining companies.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing, evaluation, and due diligence of early-stage software and AI startups
- Drive deal flow and contribute to associated processes, including structuring, negotiation, and closing
- Collaborate closely with founders and portfolio company executives, including board-level engagement
- Develop sector expertise and provide strategic insights across Redalpine’s investment themes
- Represent Redalpine at industry events, helping to expand our brand and network
Your profile
- You are curious and passionate about technology, software, AI / ML, start-ups and innovations
- Self-starter: You bring prior experience working in venture capital, startups, consulting, or a similar fast-paced environment; founder/co-founder experience is a strong plus
- You have a strong technical foundation with a degree in Engineering, AI research, Computer Science, ML, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- You are a proactive and goal-oriented digital native with great analytical skills who thrives in a high-performance culture and is ready to go the extra mile
- Fluency in English
