At NoBa, we invest early – when the risks are high, resources are limited, and execution matters most. We back bold founders building companies that shape the future of work: businesses grounded in well‑being, inclusion, and opportunity. But at this early stage, capital alone isn’t enough. Our investment club brings critical value beyond funding – offering founders deep experience, strategic support, and hands‑on help through an engaged and values‑driven investor network.

We’re looking for an Investor Community Lead to bring this community to life – connecting people, coordinating deals, and driving the communications and experiences that make our club so effective.

The Role

This is a dynamic, high‑impact role focused on delivering an exceptional investor experience and ensuring the investment club runs smoothly. You’ll lead on community engagement, operational delivery, and communications, with lots of scope to shape and grow the role as we scale.

What You’ll Be Driving

  • Community & Events – Build connection. Create belonging. Activate participation.
    • Nurture relationships across our investor base ensuring members feel welcomed, valued, and engaged.
    • Lead onboarding for new investors, supporting them through our process and platform.
    • Design and run high‑quality investor events, from pitch sessions to founder roundtables, themed discussions, and curated meet‑ups.
    • Establish a regular cadence of touch points that helps investors feel part of something meaningful.
  • Deal Operations – Keep deals moving. Deliver a seamless experience.
    • Coordinate investment club deals end‑to‑end: opportunity sharing, interest tracking, diligence steps, and completion.
    • Liaise with investors and founders to ensure smooth communication and clear expectations.
    • Manage deal flow on our investment platform (e.g. Dealum) and keep materials up to date.
    • Ensure operational rigour while keeping things founder‑friendly and flexible.
  • Comms & Growth – Keep people informed. Attract values‑aligned members. Tell the story.
    • Draft and manage investor updates, newsletters, and platform content that communicates clearly and consistently.
    • Collaborate with partners to grow the club, helping bring in new investors and expanding reach to underrepresented groups.
    • Build visibility for the club through thoughtful LinkedIn activity, member spotlights, and founder success stories.
    • Contribute to building a brand and narrative that makes people want to be part of what we’re building.

About You

  • 3–5 years of experience in startups, investor relations, community building, comms, or operations.
  • A people‑person who is confident, warm, and proactive in building relationships.
  • Comfortable picking up the phone, leading conversations, and driving engagement with high‑calibre individuals.
  • Highly organised with strong execution skills and attention to detail.
  • A strong communicator, across writing, events, calls, and LinkedIn.
  • Excited by the opportunity to work closely with investors and founders at the earliest stages of company‑building.
  • Motivated by meaningful work and being part of a small, mission‑driven team.

Why Join NoBa?

  • Work directly with bold founders and experienced investors.
  • Help shape the future of early‑stage investing and inclusive entrepreneurship.
  • Autonomy, ownership, and a front‑row seat to the early‑stage journey.
  • A supportive, values‑led team focused on doing work that matters.
  • Competitive salary up to £50k per annum with an attractive upside package worth 2x or more of the base.
