Key Responsibilities As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion. Your key duties will include: Managing the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, including advising clients on the legal implications. Handling remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build purchases from start to finish. Conducting property searches and liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties. Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documents, and other legal documentation. Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and other legal requirements. Managing complex property issues such as lease extensions, shared ownership, and adverse possession.
