About Us
Highcliff is a long-established veterinary practice, proudly serving our local community for over 100 years. Our Hadleigh branch is based in a historic Suffolk market town, surrounded by beautiful countryside. In contrast, our Brantham branch sits near the pretty market town of Manningtree, offering easy access to the scenic Suffolk and North Essex coastline. Both locations are within 20 minutes of Ipswich and Colchester, and London is a 60-minute journey from the nearby Manningtree train station.
At Hadleigh, we operate out of a beautiful Grade 2 listed building that has been refurbished to create a modern clinical environment, while retaining its historic charm. Brantham offers a spacious and purpose-built facility with all the latest equipment, including digital X-rays, video endoscopy, multiparameter monitoring, and a class IV therapeutic laser. Both sites are RCVS GP status accredited, cat-friendly, and committed to staff development as Nurse Training practices.
Our Team & Culture
Our combined clinical team comprises 15 Veterinary Surgeons (including part-time), 15 RVNs and 2 SVNs across both branches. Our Hadleigh branch benefits from the expertise of an Advanced Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging and an Orthopaedic Surgeon, with close collaboration between the branches. We take pride in fostering a supportive, professional, and friendly work environment, where personal and professional development is actively encouraged.
