We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join our team at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists on a full or part-time basis. If you are an experienced Ophthalmologist with a passion for veterinary care and want to be part of a growing, collaborative team, this is your opportunity.
You will work alongside a skilled and dedicated group of specialists, emergency doctors, and support staff committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our patients. The ophthalmology department is supported by two dedicated ophthalmology nurses, providing the clinical support needed to ensure excellent patient care. What We’re Looking For
We encourage applications from candidates who are RCVS, American, or European Boarded Diplomates, residency-trained individuals, or those with Cert AVP status. Prior experience in a multi-disciplinary referral hospital is preferred.

Work Pattern and Benefits
The full-time role involves 4 days per week, one night on call, and a 1-4 weekend on call. Part-time hours are also considered. We value our staff and offer:
