We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our exceptional team as a receptionist. Day-to-day duties include greeting and booking in clients, taking payments, answering phones to schedule appointments, addressing queries, and performing some administrative tasks. This is a fixed-term role lasting until August 2026, with potential to take on a permanent contract after this date.

We are a first opinion practice and are well equipped with an on-site laboratory, digital x-ray machine and state-of-the-art operating theatre and are able to provide the majority of diagnostic investigations and surgical procedures for our clients\’ pets. The successful person will join our fantastic team of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 RVNs and 2 SVNs with 5 client care staff.
The ideal fit
The ideal candidate will have previous reception experience and confidence in dealing with various client interactions. Great communication and organisational skills are a must. Previous veterinary experience is an advantage but not essential.
Shift pattern is variable on a 5-week rolling rota; there is some flexibility on shift patterns/hours across both branches. Our reception team have a 1 in 5 weekend rota of a Saturday 8:30 am -12:30 pm. No OOH.
