An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our small but growing team here at Cherry Tree Veterinary Practice Ltd. We require an enthusiastic, self-motivated team member who is client care focused to build good relationships with our clients whilst working alongside our vets and nurses to provide a friendly but professional service.

Duties will include:

  • Welcoming clients and answering phones
  • Responding to emails
  • Appointment bookings
  • Taking payments
  • Ensuring the reception area is always kept clean and tidy

We are a small thriving first opinion practice located in a charming village of Lane End. Situated in a picturesque 1900 building for over 10 years, we have a very strong client base which continues to grow. Having many clients with us from the beginning we can provide a more friendly/homely environment for clients and their pets.

Are you the perfect fit?

The successful candidate should have reception experience ideally within veterinary sector, though this is not essential as additional training will be provided. A professional manner and the ability to remain calm and confident in emotionally charged or stressful situations. Good computer literacy and strong organisational skills are essential. The ability to multi-task effectively, work independently and collaborate as part of a team.

You will work 30 hours per week on a rota basis, covering reception between 8:15 am – 19:30 pm Monday to Friday.
