Are you a people person with a love for animals? Come and join the welcoming team at Orwell Veterinary Group as a Receptionist!

You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team of 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Nurses, and several support staff, helping to ensure that every client receives a warm welcome and a smooth experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, answering phones, booking appointments, processing prescription requests, and providing helpful information or directing queries to the right team member. You’ll also handle payments, maintain accurate client records using our IT system, keep the reception and waiting areas tidy and inviting, and assist with unpacking and rotating stock.

What we’re looking for:

  • A friendly, motivated and professional individual
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence in using IT systems (training provided)
  • A full, valid driving licence (travel between our 3 sites may be required)
  • Previous veterinary receptionist experience is a bonus, but not essential

This is a part-time role covering 30 hours per week over a variety of shifts. You will also be included in the 1:6 Saturday rota.
