We are looking for an enthusiastic and welcoming Receptionist to join our team at our Whorral Bank hospital. You will have a vital role in welcoming our clients and their pets, dealing with queries, taking payments and managing bookings, both face to face and through telephone calls. The role is busy and engaging and your duties would be varied. This at times, can be very stressful and emotional due to the urgent and emergency nature of some of our work.
About the rota
You would be working on a shift basis to cover our opening hours at Whorral Bank, which are 8am-8pm Monday – Thursday & 8am-6.30pm Friday. You would also be required to work a Saturday shift on a rotational basis.
A can do and proactive attitude is required. You will have a strong track record in the delivery of exceptional client service and be able to demonstrate a good level of computer literacy, the ability to multi task, and be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. A full driving license is essential due to the locations of our branches. On occasion, lone working will be required so we are looking for someone with a proven ability to work well both within a team and alone. This includes stringent adherence to our health and safety and compliance procedures.

Our large purpose-built hospital is located on the outskirts of Morpeth, Northumberland in a semi-rural setting and close to coast and countryside, with another 7 branch surgeries. We have a large vet & nurse team and 6 VCA\’s. We are a close-knit group with a wellbeing team and regular social and charitable events.
