We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Lynton Vets from September 2025!
If you have a passion for customer service, experience in a veterinary reception, and are keen to make a difference in a busy veterinary environment, we’d love to hear from you. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with clients in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring that every visit is a positive experience. You will manage appointment bookings, handle queries, and take payments, while also dispensing medication and assisting with general administrative tasks.
Additionally, you will be required to handle account queries, chase outstanding debt, and manage payments, as well as complete end-of-day banking and monitor petty cash records.
You will also support the team with any other administrative tasks as required by the Reception Manager, Practice Manager or Clinical Director will also be part of your duties.

We are a long-established, Small Animal Veterinary Group. As a progressive practice we recently relocated to our brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, and continue to invest to refurbish and equip our other 2 practices to the same high standard. The practice maintains state of the art clinical equipment such dental radiography, Virtual Veterinary equipment (VVS) ultrasound scanners, anaesthetic multiparameter and patient warming equipment. We also have a purpose-built grooming salon at our main site. We have a loyal client base and a gold standard reputation across the local community. We have great transport links to London and the beauty and history of Surrey on our doorstep ready to explore.

Our 6 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 ANAs and experienced Receptionists across the Group. This is a part-time role working 27 hours per week, covering a variety of shifts including 1:4 Saturdays.
