The successful candidate will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of our practice. The role will include all reception duties such as:
- Booking in clients and small animal consultations
- Taking payments
- Answering telephones
- Organising vets and nurses' diaries
- Handling medications
- Administrative tasks
This will be a fast-paced role, so we are looking for someone who is a team player and can maintain their sense of humour at busy times. The ability to multitask is a prerequisite, as is empathy with pet owners. Previous experience working in a veterinary receptionist environment would be advantageous, but not essential. Proficient IT skills are a requirement.
You will also be required to have a full UK driving license.
Clockhouse Vets is a local, friendly Small Animal Veterinary Practice based in the town of Stroud. Our team is committed to providing the best possible level of service to our clients and their pets, and also to supporting each other and the business.
This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week, entailing 4 x 6-hour shifts Monday - Friday between 8 am - 7:30 pm. You will also be required to work 1:6 Saturdays on a rota.
