Registered Veterinary Nurse – Small Animal

Exciting, full-time role available working primarily at our main hospital site and cover for our 2 smaller sites. Our Brighton Clinic is based within our flagship hospital in central Brighton. The clinic provides a comprehensive range of general practice veterinary services including medicine, surgery, radiography, CT, ultrasound and dentistry along with the support of nursing clinics – all bolstered by excellent hospital facilities. Patients of our Brighton clinic can also benefit from the on-site support of Brighton Veterinary Referrals if additional expertise is required.

Our beautiful Peacehaven Clinic delivers advanced general practice services to clients on the coast, but clients also benefit from the skill sets and facilities available at the Brighton hospital if required.

Exciting opportunity to be a part of IVC Evidensia at our main referral hospital. The varied locations provide opportunity to learn how both small and larger practice\’s function and create an extensive network within the industry. You will come into contact with many specialists and be an essential team player in providing great care and service to our clients.

We are a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 20 minute walk into central Brighton. The area is perfect if you enjoy a mix of vibrant town life with a beautiful countryside and outdoor activities on your doorstep

Working hours

Hours will include 37.5 hours over 4 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays on rotation.

What we are looking for

We hope to find a nurse who is passionate about animal and client care as well as wanting to be part of a team. You must be eligible to be registered with the RCVS, preferred 3+yrs qualified and it is essential that you have excellent communication skills.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is competent in all routine surgeries and ideally more complex ones too, although there is support available to develop.
