New Street Vets, part of ivc, is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and experienced team as we begin an exciting new chapter alongside our sister practice, Otter Vets.

A Caseload With Plenty of Variety
No two days are the same at New Street Vets. You'll see a varied first-opinion caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries, the occasional chicken and even local wildlife.
You'll enjoy a great balance of consultations and surgery, with the flexibility to focus more heavily on surgery if that's where your interests lie. Working alongside colleagues across both practices also means plenty of opportunities to share knowledge, broaden your experience and get involved with emergency and critical care cases.

A Friendly Practice With a Fresh New Chapter
Based in a charming converted property close to Honiton's high street, New Street Vets combines a welcoming community feel with modern clinical facilities.
You'll have access to dedicated consulting rooms, dental radiography, a recently installed ultrasound machine and a comprehensive in-house laboratory, giving you the tools to investigate and manage your cases confidently.
With a practice refurbishment underway, it's an exciting time to join and have the opportunity to be part of what's next for New Street Vets.
A Team That Has Your Back
You'll join an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons and RVNs, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager, who genuinely enjoy working together.
We value open communication and shared learning, creating an environment where you can ask questions, exchange ideas and learn from those around you. Whether you want to develop a particular clinical interest, work towards a certificate or simply continue building your experience, your development matters to us.
Flexibility That Fits Around You
Full-time hours are 40 per week, worked across four or five days, with part-time applications from 30 hours per week also welcomed. The rota includes just 1:4 Saturday mornings (9:00am–1:00pm), with no out-of-hours or on-call commitments.
