Acorn Vets have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and motivated Head Veterinary Nurse to join and lead their friendly and supportive team.

We offer a full range of services, from preventive care and surgical procedures to advanced diagnostics, tailored to meet the unique needs of every pet. Our modern facilities are equipped with the latest technology to ensure the highest standard of care.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RVN who is ready to take on a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience or the desire to step into a management position, along with a passion for providing high-quality patient care and exceptional client service. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential, as is a commitment to continuous professional development. We are looking for someone who can mentor and support others in the team, maintain a positive and proactive attitude towards improving clinic standards and clinical procedures whilst contributing to the growth of the practice.

Working hours

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. There is flexibility around hours and shift patterns, which can be discussed at interview. Ideally, we’re looking for a minimum commitment of 35 hours per week.
