Are you a residency-trained or boarded equine surgeon seeking a rewarding fixed-term position? Sussex Equine Hospital is looking for a skilled surgeon to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, providing out-of-hours (OOH) surgical cover on a rota basis to support our team.

Situated in Ashington, West Sussex, our RCVS-accredited Tier 3 Equine Hospital offers an ideal balance of countryside, coast, and city living. We serve Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire with a comprehensive range of surgical, medical, diagnostic, and ambulatory services.
Our cutting-edge, purpose-built hospital boasts:
- MRI, CT, scintigraphy, digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, and on-site laboratory facilities
- Specialist diplomates in surgery, internal medicine, theriogenology, and sports medicine
- A dedicated team of 26 equine vets supported by expert nurses, grooms, and admin staff
Established in 1951 as Arundel Equine Hospital, we relocated to this state-of-the-art Ashington site in 2017, maintaining our commitment to the highest standards of equine care.
