Own end-to-end solution architecture and HLD across all workstreams.

Define and govern event-driven architecture patterns (Kafka/event streaming, async processing).

Provide architecture governance, design approvals, and CAB stakeholder engagement.

Partner with Integration Architect, Data Architect, and offshore Solution Architects.

Ensure solutions meet NFRs - scalability, resilience, security, regulatory compliance.

Lead design workshops, vendor reviews, and architecture boards.

Maintain architecture roadmap and technical debt management.

Experience Required

  • 10-15 years total experience, with 5+ years as Solution Architect.
  • Proven experience in large banking / financial services transformation programs.
  • Strong exposure to multiple domains: Payments, KYC, Billing, Treasury, Operations.
  • Experience working in onshore leadership roles with offshore delivery teams.

Technical & Domain Skills

  • Strong experience in event-driven architecture (Kafka, event bus, streaming platforms).
  • Expertise in microservices, APIs, cloud-native architecture (Azure/AWS).
  • Understanding of payment ecosystems (SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, ISO 20022).
  • Familiarity with CRM (Dynamics), billing, transaction monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
