The Splunk Presale Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving the technical sales process and ensuring customers fully understand the value of our Splunk solutions. This individual will work closely with the sales team, customers, and partners to identify opportunities, address technical challenges, and position our solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Sales Leadership
- Lead and support the sales team in driving the technical sales process.
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and technical proposals.
- Assist in identifying customer needs and mapping them to Splunk solutions.
- Customer Engagement
- Work directly with customers to understand their business and technical requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on solution architecture and best practices for Splunk implementations.

- Solution Design and Validation

Qualifications
- Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a presales, technical sales, or solutions engineering role, preferably with a focus on Splunk.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technical sales engagements and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, security, and data analytics.
- Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Splunk products, including Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and Splunk Enterprise Security.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies.
