Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced FP&A Target Operating Model (TOM) Design professional to lead the design and transformation of Financial Planning & Analysis operating models.
The role will focus on assessing current-state FP&A capabilities, designing the future-state operating model, transforming core FP&A processes and defining the appropriate balance between centralised finance, business units, Global Business Services (GBS) and BPO/outsourcing .
The successful candidate will bring strong experience across FP&A transformation, operating model design, finance process transformation and GBS/shared services models .
Key Responsibilities FP&A TOM Design & Strategy
Define and design the FP&A Target Operating Model , covering processes, organisation, governance and technology.
Assess current-state FP&A maturity and identify improvement opportunities.
Develop future-state operating model blueprints across:
Central FP&A
Business units
GBS / Shared Services
BPO / Outsourced operations
Align the FP&A operating model with finance strategy, enterprise objectives and the digital roadmap.
Define appropriate roles, responsibilities, governance structures and decision rights.
FP&A Process Transformation
Redesign core FP&A processes including:
Budgeting
Forecasting
Long-range planning
Management reporting
Drive standardisation, simplification and harmonisation across regions and business functions.
Improve planning cycles, reduce turnaround times and enhance planning and reporting accuracy.
Introduce FP&A best practices such as driver-based planning and rolling forecasts .
Identify process inefficiencies and develop practical transformation initiatives.
GBS / BPO Integration
Define the appropriate role of GBS / Shared Services and BPO within the FP&A operating model.
Assess activities suitable for centralisation, standardisation or outsourcing.
