Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced
- Build Engineer to support a major technical
Maximo upgrade and migration programme within the Aerospace & Defence sector .
- The project involves the technical upgrade and migration of an existing
- Maximo 7.6 environment running on Oracle to
- Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9. x running on DB2 , hosted in
Azure Cloud .
The role will focus on deployment execution, Open Shift platform operations, secure deployment practices, release coordination and troubleshooting deployment issues throughout the migration and upgrade programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute application and environment deployments across the required environments.
- Support
Open Shift platform operations and deployment activities.
- Implement and maintain secure deployment processes.
- Coordinate deployments and releases across technical teams.
- Support release management activities and deployment scheduling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures and environment issues.
- Work with development, infrastructure and platform teams to resolve deployment problems.
- Support technical remediation activities associated with the Maximo upgrade and migration.
- Follow security, compliance and operational standards throughout deployment activities.
- Support the migration from the existing Maximo 7.6 environment to MAS 9. x.

- Strong experience as a
Build Engineer / Deployment Engineer .
- Hands-on experience with environment deployment execution .
- Strong
Open Shift platform operations experience.
- Experience implementing secure deployment processes .
- Experience with release management and deployment coordination .
- Strong troubleshooting skills for deployment and environment failures.
- Experience working across enterprise application delivery environments.
- Experience supporting cloud-based deployment environments , preferably Azure.
- Understanding of Dev Ops, CI/CD and deployment automation practices.
- Experience in complex upgrade, migration or transformation programmes is desirable.
