We’re VaynerMedia! We are a contemporary global creative and media agency built for the now. Born in social, our work is now full service, simply loving big ideas that connect and create real change for our clients' business. We are independently owned, founded in 2009 with offices in London, Amsterdam, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Mexico City. We are recognized for our work in Cannes Lions, the Clios, D&AD and The Webbies to name a few. Culture is our key and Empathy is how we build it. VaynerMedia EMEA is strong with a world-class combination of diverse backgrounds collaborating to put forward innovative, creative and strategic solutions to the one advantage that stands the test of time – PEOPLE.

The PITCH. Strategists are tasked with the day-to-day strategic ownership of an account, helping senior strategists or strategy directors with achieving the vision set for the account - with their support. A strategist will be asked to write and deliver great briefs, work closely with creative and media teams in making it a reality and selling the strategy and work to day-to-day clients. While they work under an account’s strategic leadership, they are the engine that makes great work, which captures consumer attention, changes a client’s business and creates work that leverages culture. While we want you to shape the work, we also want to help shape your career towards leading accounts and you will learn how to move to senior strategist and strategy director by doing.

Your day-to-day could involve any part of the strategic process: helping to look for insights and signals to shape briefs, working with creative teams to create work to test and learn from in the world, working with media to shape the insights into what we’ve created, creating and delivering reports to show what we should do next and working with clients to help make plans a reality.

Here’s where you come in… Work with the PCS (junior strategist) to mine insights and cultural trends and turn them into actionable insights and creative briefs. Briefing and collaborating with creatives to make relevant and impactful work. Produce a range of strategic documents and recommendations. Develop platform and publishing strategies and share knowledge about opportunities in digital and social channels. Working with, and presenting to clients. Monitor results and effectiveness and help to continuously show where we can strategically improve through performance analysis and report creation.

We treasure Personality and Experience yet we do know that these qualifications lead to what WE KNOW as a success: A capable strategist with a hunger to make great work and a curious mind. You need to have a good understanding of brand marketing strategy, be excited about brands, creativity and the potential social channels have to make an impact on business and how content in social can help inform wider engagement and action. You should be comfortable and experienced in collaborating with senior and junior strategy colleagues as well as creative, media and client teams and confident in identifying insights, writing strategies and briefs as well as reporting and tracking effectiveness.

2-3 years experience working in a strategic marketing role (this could be at a creative agency, a media agency or client-side marketing teams). The ability to work on your own to develop strategies, briefs and reports. Collaborating with creative, client partnerships and other internal and external partners. We love people with a passion for social media, technology and popular culture, especially those with experience of running their own social media channels and networks.

Here’s how We Support You: We regularly review our benefits and are committed to providing a comprehensive programme for our people. Unlimited Holiday + 1 Day Birthday Leave, Cash Plan with Medicash - Virtual GP, Skinvision, 24/7 Health and Stress Helplines, Discounted Gym, Medicash Extras, Enhanced Parental Leave, Cycle to work scheme, Employee Assistance Program (Financial, Mental and Physical Wellbeing), Life Assurance, Income Protection, Group Personal Pension, 2 weeks Work From Anywhere. Once you reach 2 years round the Vayner sun, you’re eligible for an annual £150 budget to spend on anything that you’re curious about.

What you SHOULD KNOW about VaynerMedia: Think “lab” and not “agency”. We get excited about solving business problems, not creating advertising for the sake of making advertising. Our entrepreneurship DNA runs deep. We’re willing to break rules, try new things, and test hypotheses if it means better understanding our craft. It’s fun! We believe 100% that brands can be built on digital platforms and part of our model is built bottom up, flipping the traditional advertising model and process on its head. We don’t play to agency/industry norms and our culture and energy reflects that. Our environment (and pace) feels much more like a start-up than most agencies you might be used to. Hopefully that, and the opportunity to collaborate with the talented and enthusiastic crew, work with big brands excites you, as it does us. We can’t wait to meet you.
