We are pleased to share that Vax is looking for a CRM Executive to join the Marketing Communications team. This is a great role for a marketing executive looking to learn and develop from an experienced team of marketers. Reporting into the Head of Marketing Communications, this individual will be responsible for the planning and execution of core marketing activity, with particular focus on our email channel, whilst monitoring and tracking results and ongoing performance to a high level of detail. They will support the development and optimisation of activity and results in line with business objectives and KPIs, looking to challenge and grow aspects already in use and introducing new ones.
The role sits in the Marketing Communications team which sits alongside the Ecommerce and Social teams in a wider Marketing function. On a day to day, you will have full utilisation of the CRM platform Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Personalisation and Einstein in order to develop bespoke customer journeys. You will collaborate with the full Marketing team to ensure that CRM activity supports our brand values and execution complements wider campaign objectives.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities- Work within Salesforce Marketing Cloud application to plan, build and deliver targeted email campaigns against business and department objectives.
- Regular briefing of internal design team and web team and managing these relationships.
- Copywriting using best practice direct marketing techniques in order to maximise response.
- Provide comprehensive daily and post campaign analysis reports of all activity.
- Use and develop current marketing practices for in-house data, such as marketing automation to drive efficiency and increase Lifetime Value.
- Continual test and learn focus in order to maintain engagement and response from customer base.
- Full exploitation of Marketing Cloud Personalisation and Einstein applications to maximise efficiency of our CRM activity.
- Monitoring competitor activity and reporting back to wider team.
- Monitoring Trustpilot and other web-based customer feedback apps.
- Ensure standards are monitored for following best practice, data quality management and compliance with statutory regulations such as GDPR.
- Manage the communication and health of in-house data by liaising with wider teams in the business, providing insight into data changes, shifts in metrics and impact of marketing activity.
- Previous experience of working in a CRM/database marketing role, with email marketing campaigns.
- Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platform.
- Inquisitive marketer who uses data to inform and make commercial decisions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical mindset – Test and learn mentality, with great attention to detail.
- HTML knowledge preferable but not essential.
- Copywriting skill.
- Some basic experience of writing creative briefs. This is preferable but not essential.
