An exciting opportunity has arisen at Vauxhall Motors Manufacturing Plant (Stellantis) in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Located just off junction 6/7 of the M53, Vauxhall Motors is a well-established car manufacturer in the area.

We are currently looking to recruit Multi Skilled Maintenance to work at the Ellesmere Port Manufacturing Site.

We have both permanent roles and a minimum of 9 months fixed term contracts available.

The role will be on a 3 shift rotational pattern, 37.5 hrs per week with the opportunity for overtime.

The main responsibilities and role requirements are as follows:

• Reactive maintenance to resolve breakdowns.
• Performing planned maintenance tasks.
• Support the production teams during production runs.
• Systematic problem solving for repetitive issues/faults.
• CIP – apply continuous improvement process.

Candidates must have the following:

• Time Served Apprenticeship – Multiskilled (Electrical and Mechanical) – Minimum Qualification ONC/HNC

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC and devices advantageous
• Fanuc Robot, Programming & set-up advantageous
• Understanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic circuits advantageous
• Sound interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A high level of self-motivation and tenacity
