Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and personable Solar Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions, generating leads, and closing sales. As a key face of our family business, you'll play an important role in maintaining our reputation for honesty, reliability, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through cold calling, referrals, networking, and inbound leads
  • Educate homeowners and small businesses on the benefits of solar energy systems
  • Conduct site visits and initial assessments to understand customer needs
  • Present tailored solar solutions, including system design and financial benefits
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and quotes
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to signed agreement
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
  • Collaborate closely with installation and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales (solar or renewable energy experience is a plus, but not required)
