Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and reliable Operations Administrator to support our Solar and Energy teams. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of projects, accurate administration, and excellent customer experience from initial enquiry through to installation and aftercare. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working behind the scenes, and takes pride in keeping operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Solar and Energy teams
  • Coordinate project schedules, installations, and engineer diaries
  • Process customer applications, contracts, and documentation accurately
  • Maintain and update CRM and internal systems with customer and project data
  • Liaise with customers to provide updates and ensure a smooth journey
  • Support with booking surveys, installations, and follow-up appointments
  • Assist with compliance documentation (e.g., certifications, warranties, handover packs)
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to track materials and timelines
  • Handle inbound calls and emails, directing queries appropriately
  • Support post-installation administration, including customer sign-off and documentation
  • Assist the Executive Assistant with wider administrative tasks and process improvements

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or operations support role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset
