Hours: Monday to Friday 14:00pm - 22:00pm - 35 hours per week

Salary: £28,197 per annum plus £2433 shift allowance - total £30,630.

Location: Medway House, 100 Vale Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1SH

Grade: CM20

Job purpose

The Team leader will work as part of the Processing Team supporting the Supervisor in taking responsibility of all aspects of the Site Operation, including production/processing targets and leading the team to deliver key objectives. The applicant will also ensure procedures and controls are being adhered to at all times.

Main responsibilities

  • Ensure the shift/team meets or exceeds production/processing targets by leading the team to deliver key objectives.
  • Ensuring procedures are being adhered to at all times.
  • Ensuring the shift/team meets or exceeds agreed customer service levels.
  • Promoting a professional image to customers, both internal and external.
  • Informal performance management of employees to ensure high standards of compliance to procedures.
  • Motivate and Drive the team to ensure optimum performance including feedback.
  • Present briefings to team members ensuring opportunity for feedback.
  • Effective communication and co-operation within the team.
  • Potential long periods of standing/sitting including manual handling and lifting equipment.
  • Ensure Health and Safety standards are met within the team.

  • Demonstrated operational experience as a team leader or cash processor within a Note/Coin Site or similar production orientated environment
