Job purpose
To lead and coordinate the delivery of accounts and admin services on site, ensuring effective team performance, accurate financial processing and high standards of customer service. The role provides day to day leadership of the team and supporting the site manager in maintaining operations.
Main responsibilities
- Supports the site manager in the coordination of site administrative and financial activities.
- Manage and lead a team of 6 customer service and admin staff.
- Ensure Customer Service, Accounts and Administration as well as NCS processes are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Oversee financial admin activities, including invoicing, reconciliations, reporting and query resolution.
- Support wider site operations where required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial controls.
- Act as first point of escalation for team queries, customer issues, and admin concerns.
- Ensure high standards of customer service.
- Identify, investigate and resolve issues relating to accounts, admin and customer service processes.
- Ensure adherence to company, shareholder bank, Bank of England and Royal Mint policies.
- Support health and safety standards.
- Demonstrate an understanding of processes and procedures using effective investigation skills.
- Conduct quality performance management of employees within area of responsibility to ensure a high standard of engagement, performance and compliance to procedures.
- Support site Audits and Stocktake.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
- Demonstrated operational experience as a supervisor or team leader within a note / coin site or similar production orientated environment.
- Confident and approachable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time management skills, organisational skills.
- Operational knowledge and experience.
- Interest / experience in accounts, finance admin or office admin.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good computer literacy and numerical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem solving ability and proactive approach.
