Job Purpose
Support end‑user computing across Vaultex’s cash/coin centres and support functions to ensure optimal IT system availability and user satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Support end‑user systems (on‑site / remotely).
- Maintain safe and tidy IT equipment at all Vaultex locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems reported by end users.
- Collaborate with third‑party suppliers to resolve issues and implement new initiatives.
- Monitor the ITSM tool (Jira) Support Engineers Queue and take appropriate action.
- Maintain accurate records of incident solutions and user interactions.
- Log and update incidents and service request tickets promptly.
- Procure and manage deliveries of IT hardware, software and consumables.
- Keep the Asset CMDB inventory up to date.
- Participate in projects such as hardware/software roll‑outs.
- Mentor and share knowledge with the Service Desk to improve first‑contact resolution.
- Enhance the customer onboarding experience.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides and knowledge‑base articles.
- Occasional weekend work (e.g., generator testing/site power‑downs).
Qualifications
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
- Excellent time‑management and prioritisation skills.
- Technical analysis and broad IT knowledge (desktops, infrastructure, networking).
- Appreciation of IT security.
- Excellent customer service and IT service management (ITIL).
- Broad knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware, Microsoft software.
- Experience with network structure, site infrastructure, Intune, Entra/Active Directory, Jira.
- Flexible, hardworking, self‑motivated, able to communicate and escalade tickets/issues.
- Logical, analytical mindset; strong problem‑solving and teamwork.
- Team player; willing to share knowledge through the Service team.
