This is an exciting opportunity to join the Elite Metal Group. The role sits across all divisions of the business and is part of the workshop team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works for pricing.
- Preparing and sending out subcontract enquiries.
- Subcontract comparison and preparation of subcontract agreements.
- Attending, contributing to and taking minutes of meetings as required.
- Preparing valuations with clients, agreeing amounts for payment and ensuring invoices are prepared and issued.
- Re-measuring work using site measurement and measurement from drawings.
- Re-measurement of subcontract applications and processing subcontract payments.
- Informing sub‑contractors of contract variations.
- Assisting with reporting on Contract Performance via monthly cost/value reconciliations.
- Agreeing client and subcontract final accounts.
- Monitoring site costs on a weekly basis, providing feedback to the construction team as required.
- Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Representing the company in the best possible way, maintaining courtesy, professionalism and ethical standards.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management or similar.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years previous experience within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of framework contracts.
- Proven ability to manage clients and build relationships.
- Ability to manage commercial contracts independently.
- Experience of working with structural and architectural metal preferred.
Location & Hours:
- Office‑based role at our Perivale Head Quarters in north‑west London.
- Typical hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
