Vattenfall is a European energy company with approximately 21,000 employees. For more than 100 years we have electrified industries, supplied energy to people’s homes and modernized our way of living through innovation and cooperation. We are looking for talented individuals who, in addition to their passion for their own role, also have strong team spirit and want to contribute to supporting a meaningful corporate mission.

Vattenfall operates an increasing fleet of wind assets in five countries with highly ambitious targets to grow the portfolio. The Asset Management team in Business Unit Onshore takes the owner perspective of the Onshore portfolio and individual assets to ensure that BA Wind optimizes the lifetime profitability of our Onshore Windfarms. This means long-term value creation by developing knowledge and balancing costs, risks and performance drivers. This applies to the existing Onshore portfolio of approximately 690 wind turbines (2.3GW), but also the integration of new assets (which are currently under development or construction) into the portfolio.

The role reports to the Head of Asset Management Onshore. As a Platform Asset Manager, you will operate in an exciting setup where your capability to collaborate with multiple functions across countries, departments and from different levels in the organization is crucial for success. Success for the role comes from supporting, presenting and being the central point of driving continuous improvement related to our portfolio with wind turbines within the technical platform of Siemens D3 and Nordex Delta.

The Platform Asset Manager is a key person in ensuring that ‘Best-for-Vattenfall’ decisions are taken by balancing input from various internal and external sources to come to the right decisions. The approach should ultimately lead to improved performance and lower OPEX and CAPEX. The Platform Asset Manager needs to translate operational data, identify risks and opportunities and present viable and understandable solutions to support the decision-making of management.

In this role, you play a key part in improving the performance and long-term value of our wind turbine platforms. You work closely with colleagues across functions and countries, bringing together insights, data and expertise to support well-informed decisions. By balancing risks, costs and performance, you help ensure we continuously improve our assets and operate at our best.

  • Drive performance and improvement by monitoring turbine platform performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and initiating targeted improvement actions.
  • Enable informed decision-making by preparing clear analyses and recommendations (including risk-reward considerations) for topics such as maintenance strategies, upgrades and asset integrity.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to connect data, lessons learned and expertise, ensuring continuous improvement and strong alignment between operations and future projects.
  • Keep a clear view on how sites are performing, identifying deviations and opportunities to support ongoing improvements.

The location of this position can be either Esbjerg/Kolding (Denmark), London/Hexham (UK) or Stockholm. Regular business trips are required.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, business and collaboration. You are comfortable navigating complexity, bringing people together and turning insights into practical improvements. You don’t need to tick every box — if you recognise yourself in most of the below, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Relevant experience (min. 5 years) in asset, product or operations management, ideally within wind energy or a similar technical environment, with the ability to understand both technical and commercial drivers.
  • Turn insights and stakeholder input into concrete actions, building business cases where needed and actively driving decisions and follow-up.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to engage stakeholders, drive initiatives forward and communicate confidently in English.

Our offer includes good remuneration, a challenging and international work environment, and the possibility to work with some of the best in the field. You will be working in interdisciplinary teams and you can always count on support from committed colleagues. We offer attractive employment conditions and opportunities for personal and professional development.

We welcome your application in English, no later than June 7th 2026. We kindly request that you do not send applications by any means other than via our website and that you refrain from submitting a cover letter with your application. You apply quickly and easily by answering screening questions and attaching your CV.
