Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind, as well as other non-hydro renewable initiatives like PV/Solar and batteries. We currently develop, construct and operate wind generation assets across Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, we have a clear strategy to develop our solar PV and battery operations further.
The Warranty and Claims Management team is responsible for comprehensive end-to-end contract- and case management for SWA (Service and Warranty), TSA (Turbine Supply Agreement) and BoP (Balance of Plant) contracts in Generation and the steering of all major claims in Offshore Generation. Altogether, the team's focus adds substantial value by safeguarding contractual compliance, mitigating risks, maximizing operational efficiency, and optimizing warranty utilization.
Your responsibilities:
- Driving the identification, analysis and resolution of high value service- and warranty cases in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders along our Case Handling Lifecycle.
- Bridging between Site and Warranty Management to ensure contractual deliverables are met in TSA, SWA and BoP agreements.
- Coordinate and follow up with warranty inspection activities regarding the asset condition affecting the warranties.
- Analyse reports, triggers or findings and facilitate further review there are impacts towards warranties.
- Management of feedback and resources from Engineering supporting our warranty position.
- Interface on the required temporary or permanent works to be executed because of warranty related claims.
- Manage and coordinate activities in relation to warranty claims with other stakeholders (e.g. Asset Management, Engineering, Claims Management).
- Capture lessons learned on the performance of the contract clauses and provide these to Roadmap.
- Define ways to improve monitoring of the services performed and their impact on our rights to warranties.
Your profile:
- A degree or similar experience, preferably in Engineering with a flair in technical issues and commercial mindset.
- A solid business understanding and strategic and analytical mindset.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Offshore wind industry having a technical role.
- Ability to spot the commercial argument through complicated technical information.
- Proven project management skills enabling one to successfully deliver on several warranty projects simultaneously.
- Preference for finding simple and workable solutions within complex environment.
- Strong communication and good stakeholder management skills.
Location: Hamburg, Kolding, London or Amsterdam.
