Overview
As a Wind Farm System Designer, you translate complex technical and economic data into strategic recommendations that shape project and portfolio decisions. You work with cross-functional experts to assess value, design offshore wind farms, and identify optimization opportunities for cost and performance. You will build data-driven analyses and automation to enhance decision quality and decision speed. This role offers a meaningful impact on Europe’s offshore wind growth and the energy transition, in a collaborative, international setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform techno-economic assessments to evaluate offshore wind farm concepts and support strategic decisions
- Develop offshore wind farm designs balancing energy production, cost, feasibility, and environmental constraints
- Drive levelised energy cost and value improvement by challenging assumptions and exploring new concepts
- Translate complex information into clear, executive-level recommendations
- Build data-driven analyses and automation using Python and AI-enabled tools to improve decision quality
- Develop neutral reference cases to evaluate future technologies for informed decision-making
Key requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or Physics; PhD is an advantage
- Experience in technical, innovation-driven or cost-engineering environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to convert complex information into business insights
- Interest in renewable energy and energy transition; offshore wind experience is beneficial
- Interest in Python and AI-enabled tools for efficiency and decision support
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
