Join Vattenfall as a Systems Expert. Here, you will shape our cutting‐edge maintenance frameworks, optimize risk‐based strategies, and unite global teams across onshore and offshore sites. Leveraging our SAP tools you'll deliver innovative solutions that keep our turbines running at peak performance – all while contributing to our mission of fossil‐free living.

You will join BU Offshore Generation in the Supply Chain and Maintenance Systems Department, specifically under the Maintenance Systems Improvement team. As part of the Maintenance Systems Improvement team, we focus on optimizing operational processes through SAP service execution, supporting both onshore and offshore wind operations. In this international environment, you'll collaborate across multiple locations—Stockholm, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Kolding—to harmonize system solutions and ensure seamless end‐to‐end processes for our wind operations.

As part of BA Wind you will play a key role in one of the most exciting pipelines in the industry with 24GW of capacity stretching out more than a decade ahead across our key European markets. You won't only be involved in developing projects but pioneering cutting‐edge innovation, new business models and ways of working with communities and the environment. Working as part of a leading European utility also means you could be helping a growing number of major businesses and brands achieve their own sustainability goals through partnerships.

Your role

As the Systems Expert, you will be the central authority on designing, deploying, and optimizing maintenance system solutions – primarily around SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and MM (Materials Management) – for our onshore and offshore wind operations. In this multifaceted position, you will simultaneously act as a System Project Manager, Lead Key User, Portfolio Manager, and Implementation Advisor, ensuring that maintenance systems projects are executed on time, within scope, and with full alignment among diverse stakeholders. Working closely with the Business Demand Manager, you will help chart the strategic direction for Maintenance Systems, driving continuous improvement and fostering collaboration across functions such as IT, Supply Chain, Operations/Site teams, Integrated Operations, Engineering and Finance.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintenance Systems Authority: Own system solutions for the maintenance systems of wind (PM/MM). Serve as the Lead Key User for the SAP solution in BA Wind (service execution & supply chain). Advise project teams on maintenance systems setup, spearheading business assessments and initiating change requests when needed.
  • Portfolio & Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with the Business Demand Manager to develop and prioritize the portfolio of improvements in Wind Maintenance Systems. Engage with IT, Integrated Operations, Finance, Engineering, and site teams to gather requirements and address challenges.
  • Implementation & Continuous Improvement: Identify potential issues, propose solutions, and recommend process changes based on project analyses. Document lessons learned and refine existing workflows to align with organizational standards.
  • Agile Sprint Management: Drive detailed sprint planning, ensuring an iterative approach to enhancements in SAP functionality. Work closely with IT to manage development backlogs and integrate feedback across multiple stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Set up project teams, define plans, conduct stakeholder/risk analyses, and manage projects within Maintenance Systems. Coordinate readiness reviews, cutover plans, and go‐live support, ensuring a smooth transition to production.

Your profile

You are a driven professional who effortlessly combines an in‐depth understanding of SAP PM and MM with a strategic, forward‐thinking approach to project delivery. You enjoy transforming complex operational needs into streamlined solutions, and you excel at building collaborative relationships across diverse teams—from Finance and Engineering to site personnel and IT. With an agile mindset and solid portfolio management skills, you confidently prioritize tasks in a fast‐paced environment while remaining attentive to details. You approach challenges with curiosity and innovation, ensuring that key stakeholders are not just aligned but fully engaged in the process. Fluent in English, you are adept at communicating technical insights clearly, motivating others through your structured problem‐solving, and delivering tangible results that optimize both onshore and offshore wind operations.

Next to this, you bring:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering or a scientific discipline).
  • Industry & Technical Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with proven know-how in wind O&M daily operations. Expert user of SAP PM/MM modules, capable of guiding implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Project & Portfolio Management: Demonstrated success driving complex projects and managing stakeholder expectations in an international setting. Agile‐minded, skilled in sprint management and iterative solution development.
  • Soft Skills: High proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional language skills (e.g., Danish, German) are a plus. Strong problem‐solving capabilities and ability to build trust‐based relationships with cross‐functional teams. Structured approach to tasks, with excellent communication skills for guiding varied stakeholders.
