We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for O&M Projects, which is part of Integrated Operation within Generation and our Business Unit Offshore Wind.

High Voltage in offshore wind experience is a MUST.

The Sr.

PM for O&M Projects leads projects categorized as O&M Projects / Special Projects / Fast Response Projects of varying complexity and size.

The purpose of the projects are to ensure continued, and potentially improved, operation of our offshore wind asset, and to minimize business disruptions in case of unforeseen events.

It is the responsibility of the Sr.

PM to ensure a safe project delivery within quality, time, and budget.

Furthermore, the position requires that you, together with the rest of the project management team, prepare the organization and our processes for execution of Fast Response Projects covering HV transmission system and other vital components.

The tasks will be diverse, and cover all parts of our offshore wind asset including, but not limited to,

  • Larger replacement and repair campaigns of the HV infrastructure, such as export and inter array cables and their auxiliary components.
  • Complex technical project involving high voltage.
  • Replacement campaigns of HV SCADA Systems.
  • Larger replacement and repair campaigns (electrical or mechanical) on foundations, wind turbines and OSS above and below water.
  • Implementation of AEP (Annual Energy Production) upgrades

The person recruited for this role is expected to mostly be allocated to HV, LV and SCADA projects.

Key responsibilities and activities

As Sr. PM for O&M projects you will have the following key responsibilities and activities:

  • Prepare
  • Support in development of the department processes and tools including our Fast Response Plan and critical spares program.
  • Lead the digitalization of processes and tools.
  • Support our assets to ensure critical spares availability.
  • Improve our Fast response Plan.
  • Execute

Once a project is identified, the Sr. PM is expected to manage projects from early identification to final project closure. This will include tasks such as.

  • Ensure project delivery is within quality, scope, budget and always with safety as priority.
  • Obtain relevant steerco approvals.
  • Setup the project organization and request internal and external resources.
  • Reporting of key KPIs such as progress, cost, risks, impact and health and safety.
  • Ensure that the right solution is being implemented, benefitting the interest of all stakeholders.
  • If tendering is part of the project, support the procurement process regarding technical content and align with commercial support on contractual topics.
  • Available as required, be present on offshore site during execution.
  • Closure
  • Capture lessons learned and feedback from past projects, carefully select and ensure these are disseminated across the organization.
  • Ensure that as-built records are being correctly stored and all punch list items are being closed out.

The Sr. PM is expected to be self-driven and proactive, can rely on and shall actively seek support from department colleagues and experts across the organization.

Qualifications

  • As a Sr. PM in O&M projects you must have the following experience and training
  • Bachelor or Master´s degree in engineering or similar.
  • Relevant project management experience. Project Management training is a plus.
  • Experience with High voltage infrastructure.
  • Relevant experience to manage complex technical project involving high voltage within scope, budget and time.
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, operations, HSE, logistics and external contractors.
  • Skilled in Risk management.
  • Understanding of different turbine platforms.
  • Experience with offshore or onshore substations, transmission systems, MV/HV grid infrastructure.
  • Relevant experience from the offshore industry.
  • Familiarity with relevant grid codes and international standards.
  • Excellent skills of the English language, both verbal and written.

To succeed and thrive in the role of Sr. PM, you are expected to satisfy most, but not all, of the following.

  • You have experience from operation and/or construction of offshore wind farms.
  • Have a good understanding of the offshore working environment.
  • Basic understanding of commercial and contract management.
