Are you a proactive, experienced Scada (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) Project Manager, looking to make a significant impact?
Join Vattenfall Engineering in this new position as Digital Project Manager, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality OT & IT services to new & existing sites, while being part of a diverse team committed to innovate & standardize renewable energy technologies.
You will, in cooperation with your colleagues, be part of project tendering and project execution within the fields of Scada. This by collaborating with subject matter experts and internal and external stakeholders located across Europe, to drive the delivery of the needed applications and tools, enabling assets needed for a future built on renewable energy. In addition, you will be working closely with maintenance and operations teams to optimize the handover of the projects, always with focus on asset security, efficiency, performance, and reliability & value realization.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Manage and refine project timelines, budgets, risks, and resources – transparency being key
- Coordinate & act as the bridge between the engineering product team and internal & external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and swift resolution of technical issues for seamless project execution
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, and manage all project deliverables, including quality and EHS compliance, throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints plus capturing lessons learned
- Continuously identify, assess, and mitigate risks while leveraging opportunities to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Ensure business success and customer satisfaction through professional project and stakeholder management while always maximizing value creation – a ‘win-win’ mentality
- Consistently contribute to internal process and team improvement initiatives within the SCADA Project Management team
Location: The location of the position is in Kolding, DK, Amsterdam, NL, or Hamburg, DE. Please expect to be traveling related to your project work. Hybrid work model.
Qualifications
Your profile / who are you?
- Educated in Electrical Engineering or automation engineering, as well as Project Management disciplines
- Senior experience with automation and control systems and data pipelines, preferably within the energy sector
- Relevant work experience and competencies within a combination of onshore & offshore technology, high-voltage electrical systems, and construction projects, OT & IT technical project/program management skills from the Wind, BESS, or PV industry would be an advantage
- Knowledge & experience with design, specification, configuration, and test of OT & IT
- Demonstrated ability to engage & communicate well to teams & stakeholders
- A proactive, agile approach to process improvement and problem-solving
- A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow
- Eager to learn about new technologies & different business domains within renewable energy
- Ability to thrive & perform in a complex and diverse organizational set-up
- As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently
