Due to continued growth and success in the department, this highly tiered Legal 500 firm are seeking a real estate finance solicitor (2+ PQE). You will be joining a fast-paced and highly respected team, acting on a broad range of high-quality property finance transactions for an impressive lender and investor client base.
The Firm has exciting growth plans over the next few years. They currently house 200 staff, of which 150 are Solicitors and Partners. As a firm they like to grow organically and promote from within, with multiple examples of success stories. They are a multi-service practice, with a particularly strong Real Estate offering, which underpins many of the firm’s wider practice areas. The firm has attracted many Lawyers out of larger ‘city’ practices, who have been looking for a more collegiate, friendly culture where individuals can make more of an impact without sacrificing on quality of work and clients. You will also find there is much more in the way of staff flexibility and work-life balance, with support for hybrid working on a permanent basis. Culturally, the firm has an excellent feel — friendly, collaborative and team-oriented. They invest heavily in creating a strong internal community, hosting annual events including family BBQs and sports days, where staff, partners and families come together outside of work.
The Role involves advising on a broad range of property finance transactions, including acting for lenders, investors and developers on sophisticated financing arrangements. You will deal with a broad range of work that, among other areas, will include:
- Advising on acquisitions, investment finance, bridging finance and development finance matters
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion in a proactive and efficient manner
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with lender panel clients and associated professionals
- Liaising with investors, lenders, property managers and wider stakeholders throughout transactions
- Supporting the continued growth of the department through business development and networking activity
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate
- Working to tight deadlines on high-value matters, whilst maintaining exceptional client service and technical quality
Requirements:
- You will be a Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE
- You will have strong experience within Real Estate Finance from a quality practice
- You will be technically strong and comfortable handling matters with minimal supervision
- You will have excellent communication and relationship management skills
- You will have strong commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
- You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- You will be organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple deadlines simultaneously
