We are working with a leading international law firm on a position within their highly regarded Real Estate Finance practice in the City of London. This is a well-established and growing team that operates at the very top of the market, consistently advising on some of the most sophisticated real estate financing transactions available in London and across international markets.
The team acts for a broad and impressive client base, with the practice weighted towards lender and creditor-side representations whilst also maintaining a solid volume of borrower and sponsor-side work that adds genuine variety to the seat. The client base is more towards the lending community including leading debt funds and credit vehicles, alongside major financial institutions. The work spans the full capital structure, including senior facilities, senior and mezzanine structures, loan on loan financings and funds finance and margin loan work.
Geographically the practice has a strong domestic foundation alongside a significant volume of cross-border transactions, giving the team genuine international reach. Associates in this team are actively encouraged to develop client relationships and take ownership of their matters in line with their confidence and ability. There is a strong culture of training, development and investment in junior lawyers, and the working environment is widely regarded as collaborative and genuinely supportive.
This position is ideally suited to an individual with:
- 1-4 years of post-qualified experience with a focus on Real Estate Finance
- Qualified in England & Wales, or internationally qualified with solid London-based real estate finance experience. Australian or NZ qualified are considered too.
- Training or experience at a leading City of London or international law firm
