We are working with a leading international law firm on an associate hire within its highly regarded REF practice in the City of London. The team is consistently recognised at the top of the market directories and acts for an impressive client base spanning major banks, credit funds, asset managers, institutional lenders and high-profile sponsors and developers.
The practice covers a broad range of financing structures and asset classes, from investment and development finance through to structured and capital markets‑linked transactions, with significant cross‑border and pan‑European deal flow.
Associates at this level take on genuine responsibility: leading on documentation, managing transactions, supervising junior lawyers and contributing to client relationships and business development. The firm offers a strong platform for continued growth, with a collaborative team culture, excellent mentorship from highly regarded partners and a genuine commitment to associate development.
The Candidate
- 2-5 years' PQE in REFor Banking & Finance with strong real estate exposure
- Experience gained at a respected City or international law firm
- Strong technical and drafting skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage deals with increasing autonomy
- Qualified in England & Wales (international qualifications considered with strong London market experience)
