We are working with a leading International law firm on a position within their market-leading Energy & Infrastructure team in their London office. The position is for a 2-4 PQE Associate. You will be working on a broad range of project development and finance matters, covering renewables, nuclear and other power projects, oil and gas and petrochemicals, new technologies (including digital infrastructure/data centres, CCUS and low carbon fuels), mining and commodities financing, acquisition finance of infrastructure assets and traditional transport infrastructure.

The team is sector-focused rather than product-focused, so associates work across project finance, commodity finance, acquisition finance, commercial contracting and regulatory matters. You act for governments, sponsors, financial institutions, contractors and suppliers on large-scale, market-leading transactions that often span multiple jurisdictions.

This position is ideally suited to an individual with:

  • 2-4 years PQE in projects, project finance or finance within energy and infrastructure
  • Experience advising on any one or more of: project finance, commodity finance, acquisition finance, or commercial contracting in the energy/infrastructure space
  • Background at a leading City law firm
  • Open to England & Wales Qual, as well as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong
