An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contentious Private Client solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a highly regarded and growing disputes practice.
This role is suited to a solicitor with strong technical expertise across contentious trusts and estates matters, including will disputes, Inheritance Act claims, trust disputes, and related private wealth litigation. You will be joining an established team with an excellent reputation for handling complex, high-value matters for a varied client base.
The firm has been established for over a decade and has built a strong presence in the market, including recognition in Chambers, reflecting both the quality of its work and its reputation. It offers a modern, entrepreneurial environment where lawyers are encouraged to take ownership of their practice and play a visible role in the firm’s continued growth.
A key aspect of the role will be client generation. The successful candidate will be confident in building relationships with referrers, converting opportunities into instructions, and developing their own client following, with full support from the wider team and firm platform.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years’ PQE in contentious private client work
- A strong track record of managing matters autonomously
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
- Excellent client-handling and relationship-building skills
