We are working with a leading international law firm on a position within their highly regarded Real Estate Finance practice in the City of London. This Senior Associate opportunity sits within a well-established and growing team that is widely recognised for the quality and sophistication of its work across domestic and international markets.
The team acts for a broad and impressive client base, with the practice weighted towards lender and creditor‑side representations whilst also maintaining a solid volume of borrower and sponsor‑side work that adds genuine variety to the seat. The client base is more towards the lending community including leading debt funds and credit vehicles, alongside major financial institutions. The work spans the full capital structure, including senior facilities, senior and mezzanine structures, loan on loan financings and funds finance and margin loan work.
Geographically the practice has a strong domestic foundation alongside a significant volume of cross‑border transactions, giving the team genuine international reach. Senior Associates are expected to work closely with Partners, run transactions with a high degree of autonomy and contribute actively to the development of more junior team members. There is a strong emphasis on marketing and business development alongside meaningful investment in the long‑term development of its lawyers.
This position is ideally suited to an individual with:
- 5‑8 PQE (4+ too) years of post‑qualified experience with a focus on Real Estate Finance
- Qualified in England & Wales, or internationally qualified with solid London‑based real estate finance experience. Australian or NZ qualified are considered too.
- Training or experience at a leading City of London or international law firm
